PARKING: NOTE: Walnut Creek parking meter rates are in effect from 10 AM - 8 PM everyday. The Library has 136 spaces, including 7 handicap spaces. These are often full. The parking structure 2 blocks sound of the Library on Broadway almost always has spaces available. Check the latest information on rates posted. Here’s a convenient Parking Map to other nearby public parking facilities.

MEMBER REMINDERS! IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND a monthly event: As you know we limit seating in our venue to 120 attendees (or less) to assure a good viewing experience. If you cannot attend, and you do not have anyone else who can use your reserved seat, please release your space by notifying Mountain Shadow at your earliest convenience by email, text or phone call: jb@mountainshadow.org or 925-787-6965. Thank you!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Member’s reserved seats are only held until 7:25 PM, when those seats may be released for general admission. Be sure to allow enough time for any parking challenges!

AS A MEMBER, IF YOU WISH TO RESERVE TICKETS for your guest/s, email Mountain Shadow and provide their names. We will confirm by reply email if space is still available. Please plan to sign in with your guest/s at the Member Check-in table no later than 15 minutes before show time.  There is a $12.50 general admission fee for each guest, paid by cash or credit card (.35 cent convenience fee for credit card charge). Exact change is helpful.  Obviously, please avoid no-shows and notify Mountain Shadow if your guest cancels.

IF YOU MISS A SHOW, BORROW THE FILM! While Mountain Shadow pays hefty screening fees for our non-theatrical public performance shows of new releases, acquire a copy of the films as they become available.  As a result, we are continually adding titles to our own Lending Library; which are  subsequently available to our members for private viewing.  If you miss one of our monthly events or just want to view one of our terrific films a second time, check-out and return a film at the Member Table at each screening, or contact Mountain Shadow to arrange to pick up the film at a mutually convenient location.
